Operations Manager
Tom Spurgeon
As the Operations Manager at Southern Mechanical and Electrical, Tom Spurgeon plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our engineering team and business operations. With a wealth of industry knowledge and seven years of experience with the company, Tom’s operational expertise is crucial to the successful execution of our projects.
Tom oversees all aspects of our day-to-day operations, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and providing a friendly and reliable voice for queries or support. His diverse skillset and hands-on approach keep our projects on track and our clients satisfied.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children and exploring new places.

Ben Briggs, our in-house electrical expert, brings a wealth of experience and a broad skill set to our team. Sam Burrows
As our Engineering Assistant, Sam is integral to supporting our engineering team and ensuring the seamless execution of our projects. In addition to his current responsibilities, Sam is actively pursuing a welding apprenticeship, enhancing his skills and expanding his expertise in the field. This commitment to professional development underscores his dedication to advancing his career and contributing even more to our team.
